Adire is the name of the resist dyed cloth of the Yoruba People in Southern Nigeria Using traditionally starch paste as a resist instead of wax compared to batik .

This handmade 100% cotton fabric is used in fashion and home decor as well to make beautiful & unique pieces .

Adire is one of the African tie dyed fabrics .

Washing methods are the same for all dyed fabrics handwashing is preferred but can be done in machine with mild soap and gentle cycle.
